Gaianet Node Setup

Gaia is a decentralized AI inferencing network that distributes and incentivizes GenAI Agent compute across a global network of nodes. Run your own Gaia node to contribute compute power and earn rewards.

Registration#

Register at: https://gaianet.ai (opens in a new tab)

Installation#

1. Update and Upgrade System#

sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade -y

2. Install Dependencies#

sudo apt install -y curl

3. Download and Install Gaia Node#

curl -sSfL 'https://github.com/GaiaNet-AI/gaianet-node/releases/latest/download/install.sh' | bash

4. Add Path to Environment#

source ~/.bashrc

5. Initialize Gaia Node#

gaianet init

6. Start the Node#

gaianet start

7. Check NodeID & DeviceID#

gaianet info

After Node is Active#

If successful, the terminal will display a public URL like this:

https://0xxxxxxxxx.gaianet.xyz
  1. Open the URL in a browser to view node information
  2. On the website https://gaianet.ai (opens in a new tab), click Profile → Node → Connect New Node
  3. Input your NodeID and DeviceID
  4. Verify using MetaMask
  5. Return to Task XP and select Verify Task
  6. Done! 🎉
