Network3 Node

Network3 is a decentralized infrastructure network. Run a Network3 node to contribute resources and earn rewards.

Registration#

Register at: https://account.network3.ai (opens in a new tab)

• Click the top download image
• Select the user manual
• If using VPS, select Linux; for RDP, select Windows
• Follow the steps below

Node Requirements#

Installation Steps#

1. Update and Install Dependencies#

1sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade -y
2sudo apt install -y screen net-tools

If prompted to restart processes, select the last option.

2. Install Network3 Node#

Download the node package:

wget https://network3.io/ubuntu-node-v2.1.0.tar

Extract and navigate to the folder:

1tar -xvf ubuntu-node-v2.1.0.tar
2rm -rf ubuntu-node-v2.1.0.tar
3cd ubuntu-node

3. Create and Run the Node#

screen -S network3

sudo bash manager.sh up

4. Retrieve and Sync the API Key#

sudo bash manager.sh key

Synchronize your node:

1. Go to the link displayed (e.g. https://account.network3.ai/main?o=xx.xx.xx.xx:8080)
2. Replace xx.xx.xx.xx with your server's IP
3. Click the + button, paste your API key, and click OK

5. Managing the Node#

Detach screen: CTRL+A, then D

Reattach screen:

screen -r network3

Troubleshooting#

If the "+" button is not visible on the web:

1sudo bash manager.sh down
2sudo ufw allow 8080/tcp
3sudo bash manager.sh up

Then go back to the web interface to input the API key.
